Who are we?

Whatfix is an AI platform advancing the “userization” of enterprise applications, empowering companies to maximize the ROI of their digital investments. Technology needs adoption. It’s no different for AI. As AI reshapes roles, workflows, and human-machine interactions, it also introduces new layers of complexity and user friction. This is where Whatfix plays a pivotal role. A decade old  DNA of empowering people to succeed with technology and not replacing them. We call this philosophy Userization: the belief that technology must adapt to the user, not the other way around.

At the heart of userization philosophy is ScreenSense, our proprietary AI engine, which continuously interprets both the context of what users are doing in an application or an AI tool and the intent behind their actions. By combining these signals, Whatfix delivers real-time guidance, nudges, knowledge, and automation directly in the flow of work.

This intelligence powers our entire product suite.

  • Digital Adoption helps users get productive faster.

  • Product Analytics uncovers friction and closes adoption gaps.

  • Mirror allows employees to train in safe, simulated environments.

These are embedded with Whatfix AI Agents which supercharge creation, insights, and user guidance.

Our upcoming AI-first products are already creating a buzz in the market.

  • Seek is an AI-native assistant that not only knows your business context but can also act across applications to get work done on your behalf.

  • Whatfix Mirror 2.0 is the world’s only System plus Role simulation with a complete assessment to lead the Gen AI simulation category.

Together, these products reflect Whatfix’s commitment to building enterprise-ready AI teammates that maximize productivity and ROI. It gives users a unified, intelligent way to find answers across systems, apps, and knowledge silos and helps anyone looking to deliver fast and contextual answers.

Whatfix is bridging the gap between rapid technological change and human enablement—ensuring AI is not only embedded but also usable, trusted, and outcome-driven for every employee.

At Whatfix, we’re not just making software easier—we’re making AI work for people.

About the Role:

We are looking for a GTM Tools Engineer to join our Marketing Automation Team, focused on building intelligent automation systems and AI agents that power our go-to-market (GTM) operations. This role blends technical engineering, AI experimentation, and GTM system automation. You’ll architect, build, and optimize the tools and integrations that help our marketing teams move faster, smarter, and more efficiently — leveraging Vibe Coding, AI agents, and custom APIs to solve operational challenges. This person will report to the Lead - Marketing Automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy AI agents to automate marketing workflows, improve data accuracy, and enhance campaign execution efficiency.

  • Leverage Vibe Coding to design, build, and orchestrate custom workflows for marketing and GTM use cases.

  • Build and maintain integrations between internal GTM systems — such as CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot), marketing automation (Marketo, Pardot, etc.), analytics, and engagement tools — using APIs or custom connectors.

  • Design scalable APIs to connect AI agents with third-party platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.

  • Collaborate with marketing, RevOps, and data teams to identify process bottlenecks and design AI-driven automation solutions that improve performance.

  • Build monitoring and diagnostic tools to track automation performance, workflow uptime, and data reliability.

  • Maintain strong documentation, ensuring all integrations, automations, and AI agents are well-tracked and reproducible.

  • Train marketing on how to use and extend AI automation tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing automation, RevOps engineering, or GTM tooling roles.

  • Proven experience building or deploying AI agents (using frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGen, OpenAI API, or similar).

  • Hands-on experience with Vibe Coding (or equivalent code-based automation / orchestration frameworks).

  • Solid understanding of APIs, RESTful services, and webhook architectures — ability to create and consume APIs for integrations.

  • Proficiency in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript for building automations and API-based integrations.

  • Experience working with marketing automation tools such as Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot, Salesforce, or customer data platforms.

  • Familiarity with data transformation and workflow orchestration tools (Zapier, n8n, Tray.io, Workato, etc.).

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to design scalable solutions for complex marketing challenges.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and data teams.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have:

  • Prior experience with AI orchestration frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, or custom agent frameworks).

  • Exposure to large language models (LLMs) and prompt engineering.

  • Experience developing internal tools or microservices to extend marketing automation capabilities.

  • Familiarity with data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery) and ETL/ELT tools (dbt, Airbyte).

  • Understanding of event-driven architectures (Kafka, Pub/Sub, etc.) to automate trigger-based marketing actions.

  • Knowledge of A/B testing frameworks or personalization engines.

Perks & Benefits (India):

  • Best-in-class medical insurance coverage

  • Free lunch & dinner buffet

  • Doorstep cab drop facility

  • Education sponsorship

  • Internal job transfer & global mobility programs

  • Scope to represent Whatfix at global events
