What will you get to do? 

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Business Finance leader who can partner with business heads, influence strategic decisions, and bring strong financial discipline across the organisation. The ideal candidate is a CA with excellent communication and presentation skills, strong exposure to multi-currency environments, SaaS revenue recognition, pricing, cost analysis, treasury, and experience managing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities
1. Business Partnering & Strategic Decision Support

  • Partner with business leaders to drive clarity around revenue, cost drivers, utilisation, and unit economics.
  • Explain team-level budgets, cost structures, and variances in a simple, actionable manner.
  • Provide insights and challenge assumptions to improve decision-making and performance.

2. Pricing & Commercial Finance

  • Lead pricing strategy, pricing analytics, and deal-level commercial evaluations.
  • Work with Sales, Product, and Strategy teams to refine pricing models and assess profitability.
  • Support customer-level margin analysis and long-term value optimisation.

3. FP&A – Planning, Forecasting & Multi-Currency Modelling

  • Own budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
  • Build detailed models with multi-currency inputs and scenario planning.
  • Ensure high forecasting accuracy and proactive performance insights.

4. Revenue Recognition & Compliance

  • Ensure accurate revenue recognition aligned with SaaS standards (ASC 606 / Ind AS 115).
  • Review deal structures and contract terms to determine financial impact.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and support internal/external audit processes.

5. Cost Analysis, Unit Economics & Utilisation

  • Analyse cost structures, utilisation metrics, and productivity drivers across functions.
  • Build frameworks for contribution margin, LTV/CAC, payback period, and other SaaS economics.
  • Identify efficiency opportunities while supporting business growth priorities.

6. Treasury Management

  • Manage cash flow planning, fund movement, and liquidity management across entities.
  • Oversee short-term and long-term cash forecasts and working capital requirements.
  • Support FX exposure monitoring, hedging, and treasury controls where applicable.
  • Ensure optimal deployment of surplus funds in line with company policy and risk guidelines.

7. Reporting & Executive Communication

  • Create dashboards, MIS packs, and performance scorecards for leadership and board reviews.
  • Translate complex financial analyses into clear, compelling presentations for senior stakeholders.
  • Strengthen reporting cadence and financial discipline across functions.

8. Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor the business finance team; build capability in modelling, communication, and business partnering.
  • Drive a culture of ownership, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

 

What you should have?

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) required; MBA is a plus.
  • 8–12 years of experience in Business Finance, FP&A, Corporate Finance, or related roles.
  • Strong exposure to:
    • Pricing & commercial modelling
    • Treasury and cash flow management
    • Multi-currency reporting
    • SaaS metrics & recurring revenue models
    • Revenue recognition (ASC 606 / Ind AS 115)
    • Cost analysis, utilisation metrics, and unit economics
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are a must.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated team management experience.
  • Ability to operate hands-on in a fast-paced, global, high-growth environment.
