Who are we?

Whatfix is an AI platform advancing the “userization” of enterprise applications, empowering companies to maximize the ROI of their digital investments.

Technology needs adoption. It’s no different for AI. As AI reshapes roles, workflows, and human-machine interactions, it also introduces new layers of complexity and user friction. This is where Whatfix plays a pivotal role. A decade old DNA of empowering people to succeed with technology and not replacing them. We call this philosophy Userization: the belief that technology must adapt to the user, not the other way around.

At the heart of userization philosophy is ScreenSense, our proprietary AI engine, which continuously interprets both the context of what users are doing in an application or an AI tool and the intent behind their actions. By combining these signals, Whatfix delivers real-time guidance, nudges, knowledge, and automation directly in the flow of work.

This intelligence powers our entire product suite.

  • Digital Adoption helps users get productive faster.
  • Product Analytics uncovers friction and closes adoption gaps.
  • Mirror allows employees to train in safe, simulated environments.

These are ur embedded with Whatfix AI Agents which supercharge creation, insights, and user guidance.

Our upcoming AI-first products are already creating a buzz in the market.

  • Seek is an AI-native assistant that not only knows your business context but can also act across applications to get work done on your behalf.
  • Whatfix Mirror 2.0 is the world’s only System plus Role simulation with a complete assessment to lead the Gen AI simulation category.

Together, these products reflect Whatfix’s commitment to building enterprise-ready AI teammates that maximize productivity and ROI. It gives users a unified, intelligent way to find answers across systems, apps, and knowledge silos and helps anyone looking to deliver fast and contextual answers.

Whatfix is bridging the gap between rapid technological change and human enablement-ensuring AI is not only embedded but also usable, trusted, and outcome-driven for every employee.

At Whatfix, we’re not just making software easier - we’re making AI work for people.

The company has presence across 40+ countries with 700+ enterprise customers, including 80+ Fortune 500 companies.

Role: Lead, Founder's Office (Strategy & GTM), GTM Labs

GTM Labs is a high-growth, startup-like function within Whatfix responsible for building, testing, and scaling the go-to-market strategy for new products and feature innovations. It operates as an entrepreneurial venture inside Whatfix, taking ownership of sales, demand generation, and market validation from the earliest product stages.

About the Role

We are looking for a Lead, Founder's Office to work directly with the Head of GTM Labs.

You will do two things. First, you will help run the function - converting ambiguous priorities into scoped plans, owning the operating cadence, driving cross-functional initiatives and building the analysis and narrative that leadership decisions rest on.

Second, you will carry a slice of the revenue motion yourself, working the full cycle on new products the way a founding seller would.

Think of it as two-thirds strategy and execution, one-third direct selling. The proportions will shift with what the business needs in a given quarter, and you should be comfortable with that.

The people who do well here have built something from scratch before - founders, early-stage operators, or first commercial hires who have both set the number and carried it.

What You'll Own

Strategy and Execution

  • Turn ambiguity into plans: Take priorities that arrive as one-line problem statements and convert them into scoped initiatives with owners, timelines, and success metrics.
  • Run the operating rhythm: Planning cycles, business reviews, goal tracking, and the follow-through that decides whether decisions actually land.
  • Build the case: Structure the data, analysis, and narrative behind strategic bets, investment decisions, and leadership reviews.
  • Own the unowned: Drive cross-functional programs end-to-end where the answer to “who owns this” is currently nobody.
  • Operate with delegated authority: Represent the office in forums, unblock teams, and carry decisions forward without needing every step signed off.
  • Build your own leverage with AI: Use AI tooling to compress research, analysis, and drafting cycles, and stand up lightweight workflows and automations that let a small team operate like a larger one.

Go-to-Market

  • Full-cycle ownership: Run outbound through close on a defined set of new-product opportunities.
  • Market validation: Use live customer conversations to pressure-test ICP, positioning, and pricing, then feed that back into product and marketing with enough specificity to change the roadmap.
  • Build your own pipeline: Prospect and generate demand
  • Productize what works: Convert early wins into playbooks, enablement, and a repeatable motion the scaling team can inherit.

What We're Looking For

  • You have built something from zero. Founded a company, ran a founder's office, or were among the first commercial hires at an early-stage company.
  • 5-10 years across enterprise SaaS sales, strategy, or operating roles, with real exposure to the US enterprise market.
  • You write the brief instead of waiting for one. High tolerance for ambiguity, low tolerance for drift.
  • Strong structured thinking and clear writing - you can take a messy problem and produce a one-pager that a leadership team can decide from.
  • Credible with senior stakeholders on both sides of the table: internal leadership and customer executives.
  • Comfortable moving between the strategic and the tactical in the same day, without treating the tactical as beneath you.
  • You already work AI-first. AI tooling is part of how you research, analyse, write, and build, and you can point to specific work you produced faster or better because of it.
  • Enough technical fluency to hold a credible conversation about AI products - what they can do today, where they break, and how buyers actually evaluate them.

Great to Have

  • Prior Lead, Founder's Office, founder's office experience at a high-growth SaaS company.
  • Experience selling a pre-PMF or category-creating product.
  • Experience taking an AI or GenAI product to market.
  • Hands-on with building internal tools, agents, or automations.
  • Working fluency with product and product marketing partnership.

Why Join Us?

  • Proximity to the decisions that matter: You will work on the highest-leverage problems in the company, with visibility into how they get resolved.
  • Startup ownership, enterprise backing: Build in a startup-like environment with the resources of a well-funded, fast-growing SaaS company behind you.
  • Hands-on leadership: The leadership team is built of people who have done the work themselves and are not afraid to get their hands dirty.
  • From single to multi-product: Whatfix expanded from one product to five in two years, with all major offerings beyond the PMF stage.
  • Global exposure: Our inside sales playbook is a reference point for Indian startups targeting the North American market. We sell 1M+ transactions out of India, and you will travel to represent Whatfix at international events.
  • A real next step: This role is designed as a launchpad - into a GTM leadership seat, or into owning the next line of business outright.

At Whatfix, we value collaboration, innovation, and human connection. We work from the office four to five days a week to foster open communication, strengthen our community, and move faster together.

We are guided by strong cultural principles, including Customer First, Empathy, Transparency, Ownership, Deep Dive & Innovate, Trust, and No Hierarchies in Communication-and we encourage every employee to live these values daily.
