What You'll Do:

  • Conduct targeted market research to identify new BFSI prospects, focusing on core banking modernization, and pinpoint upsell/cross-sell opportunities with Fortune 2000 Enterprise clients, particularly those utilizing Temenos, Finacle, or similar platforms
  • Develop and execute territory and account plans, specifically tailored to the BFSI landscape, to meet and exceed sales targets within the core banking and digital transformation space
  • Assist in nurturing prospect and client relationships in new and expansion sales, with a focus on demonstrating value within core banking system integrations and enhancements
  • Gain exposure to the sales cycle, including prospecting and opportunity creation, with emphasis on understanding BFSI technology roadmaps and core banking challenges (with guidance from senior team members)
  • Collaborate with internal teams like Sales Engineering, Solution Consulting and Customer Success to articulate the Whatfix value proposition specifically for streamlining core banking workflows and user adoption
  • Participate in BFSI industry events, particularly those focused on core banking and digital transformation, to learn and network with clients, CIOs, and key decision-makers in the banking technology space

Who We're Looking For:

  • Highly motivated post graduate (MBA) with a strong academic background and and 5-8 years of post-MBA work experience in business administration, marketing, banking, insurance, or financial technology, with a preference for knowledge of core banking systems
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical solutions to BFSI stakeholders
  • Eager to learn and passionate about building relationships within the BFSI sector, particularly with those involved in core banking implementations and upgrades
  • Familiarity with the EMEA enterprise business landscape and in-depth knowledge of business processes in Banking and Insurance, with a strong understanding of core banking systems like Temenos and Finacle
  • In addition to English, native fluency in additional European languages (especially German or French) is a strong advantage, particularly when engaging with clients in those regions utilizing specific core banking platforms
