About the Role

We’re looking for a Product Designer (D4), the equivalent of a Lead IC, to join our Product Design & Research team. In this role, you’ll lead design for our Analytics product line, driving vision, shaping user experiences, and solving complex challenges that help customers make confident, data-informed decisions.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, intuitive experiences for both end users and content creators. While this is an expert IC role (not a manager role), you’ll have high ownership and influence across the design and product org.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with your Design Lead and cross-functional peers to align Analytics design strategy with product and business goals
  • Lead design efforts across the full product lifecycle,from discovery to delivery,for end-user and authoring experiences
  • Shape a unified, cohesive vision for Whatfix Analytics with a focus on simplicity, usability, and quality
  • Translate complex workflows into intuitive, human-centered solutions
  • Champion design craft—producing high-quality concepts, prototypes, and final specs that meet our standards of excellence
  • Balance executional ownership with strategic thinking, including helping embed AI meaningfully into the Analytics experience
  • Collaborate deeply with Product Management, Engineering, and Research to ensure insights drive outcomes
  • Contribute to cross-team initiatives that ensure consistency and cohesion across our platform
  • Design analytics interfaces that help users optimize tool adoption, reduce friction, and improve employee enablement

What We’re Looking For

  • ~6 years of experience designing for enterprise SaaS or B2B products
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your end-to-end design process, shipped work, and contributions as a lead designer
  • Systems thinker who can simplify complex user journeys across varied personas
  • Craft and detail orientation that results in polished, scalable, and intuitive solutions
  • Collaborative mindset: you thrive in cross-functional environments and proactively break down silos
  • Fluent in human-centered design methods, from discovery and synthesis to prototyping and validation
  • Proactive communicator who brings clarity, energy, and a bias for action
  • Bonus: Experience designing for analytics, data visualization, or AI-powered systems
